Making a weight loss body wrap at home is easy and can be done using a few simple herbal ingredients. While doing so, you must make use of ingredients that suit your skin type and have the ability to soothe your skin. Here are two body wrap recipes that you can prepare at home.
Clay Body Wrap
Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
¼ cup sea salt
½ cup powdered herbs
1 cup clay
2 cups water
Method
Heat the water. Add the salt to it and stir it well until the salt dissolves completely. Remove the water from the heat and mix it with the herbs, olive oil, and clay. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly into a fine paste. Allow this mixture to cool before you can use it.
Essential Oil Body Wrap
Ingredients
¼ cup sea salt
½ cup powdered herbs
1 cup clay
2 cups water
1 teaspoon each of lavender oil, chamomile oil, and rosemary oil.
Method
Heat the water and add the salt to it. Stir the mixture well until the salt dissolves completely. Then remove the water from the heat and add the herbs and clay to it. Mix it thoroughly into a fine paste and then add the essential oils to it. Mix it again and allow it to cool before use.
Usage Procedure
There is a specific procedure to be followed while making body wraps at home so that the desired results are obtained. First of all, you will need to hydrate yourself by drinking at least three glasses of water before you apply the body wrap. Then, indulge in a warm bath that allows the pores in the body to open up and help the wrap soak better into the skin. Also, exfoliate the skin while bathing. Then dip the plastic or rubber wrap in the wrap solution and carefully apply it to the area where inch loss is required. Let it remain there for an hour or so and then remove the wrap and wash off the solution.
