Having a baby is exciting and demanding at the same time. Giving up on your comfortable routine is not easy. This is where working out helps new moms recover, manage stress, & stay positive.

Being patient and eliminating all negative thoughts are the first and most important things to do.
Being stress free gives out happy vibes to the baby. Exercising will help in managing your stress and hormones.
You can start exercising, usually after 6 weeks, depending on the doctor’s consultation.
Spending time with your baby will make it feel loved. Involve the baby in as many things as you can. Building a parallel routine for both of you will help schedule your day.

Taking your baby for a stroll in the park creates a special bond. Try carrying the baby instead of a pram for some added exercise.

Use the walking time for bonding with your baby and your partner. It will help build a stronger bond.
Try Yoga as it will help your flexibility. There is also a lesser chance of injury.
Yoga will also help you deal with the chaotic new mom routine with a calmer mind.
Pilates is another good choice for new moms. It will slowly and steadily strengthen your abdominal muscles, upper back, and hips.
Swimming with proper care is one of the best ways to workout as it is quite low-impact. It will restore muscle tone and strengthen your core, upper and and lower back.
Do not skip meals with the fear of weight gain. Instead choose foods that will help you stay energized. Greek yogurt or an egg are a good snack as they are rich in protein.
