Stretch out your arms in the front for better balance. Next, lower your hips towards the ground, by bending your knees, till your thighs are parallel to the ground. When your thighs are parallel to the ground, see to it that your knees do not extend beyond your feet. Remain in this position for a second and then come back again. Start with ten repetitions of this exercise and then move on to do three sets of ten repetitions each, once your flexibility and comfort level improves.

Raise your right leg around six inches off the floor, hold it for about five seconds in the air and then get it back to the ground. Repeat the same with your left leg.
